Role of the Facilitator

The role of the facilitator in interactive meetings is to set the agenda, develop an environment of trust & open communication, coach the participants, and guide the pacing so the agreed upon agenda items are completed. The facilitator’s energy and attitude set the tone and provide momentum for the meeting. Questions by the facilitator capture attention and interest, and lead to involvement and interaction.
